Chuckling here…I’m assuming you are doing this in order to cover over plaster cracks. Not only am I a building contractor, I helped my dad re-do three rooms of his house with just this same problem about 20 years ago. we used 1/4 inch for walls, which is adequate, and 1/2 inch for the ceiling. 1/2 inch on the ceiling because there might be some sag in anything thinner. I personally think you could get away with 3/8 on the ceiling with no problem. concerning installing around the door and window casings (if you have any). Its a simple thing to remove existing casings and moldings, but remember you will have to put in place a 1/4 inch strip of wood to make up the difference before replacing. In the case of my dad’s house, we chose to ‘cut-in’ around all the moldings, leaving them in place. We still ended up with a 1/2 inch reveal where the molding butted up against the drywall. Look in the hotels in canada section for a list of all the major hotels and the map of their locations relative to the horseshoe and american falls, the casinos and clifton hill. Me and my friends are young and usually fairly broke so we usually stay at hotels like days inn. howard johnson, skyline inn or michaels but the best hotels are the Sheraton Fallsview or Sheraton by the falls, the Fallsview casino resort, the hilton, the marriot fallsview, the embassy suites or the Doubletree resort, all fairly pricey though. Fav attractions Marineland ( cause i love animals and rides ), Fallsview waterpark, clifton hill has haunted houses, wax museums, rides, arcades, fun house, maze, ripley’s, guiness records museum, etc. The best attraction is obviously the falls them self, the maid of the mist boat ride, the falls are lit up at night and they do fireworks over the falls on fridays and sundays ( and holidays ). http://www.niagarafallslive.com/

Interesting question. Indeed, we humans have a natural tendency to form groups and this doesn’t appear to be changing with material progress, therefore it is perfectly legitimate looking for the modern equivalent of tribes in our society. But I think a nation is too a large human group to replace the tribe in our natural mindset. In a nation there are so many persons and so many differences that you can hardly find a reasonable base of shared values, purposes and objectives. I think that the right group to replace the tribe function in our society is more a medium-size set of neighborhoods, sharing some kind of common pursuit. For instance, a Company, a religious association, a sport club, an interest group, a small political party, etc. Yes, all these are “tribes” in a functional sense. Of course, genetics is not an issue here. The requisite to have a tribal identity is to share common values, not common genes. That used to be in ancient times for the merely practical reason that people didn’t travel as we do now.

I go to Vegas two to three times a year - I love the shows. Without question, “O” is the most fantastic show you will ever see. I’ve seen every Cirque show except for the one in Disney Orlando, and nothing comes close. The show itself is “indescribable” and the cast performs the most unbelievable feats on land, in the air and in the water. The French word for water is “eau”, pronounced “O”, hence the name of the show. Go “O”, you will not regret that decision. People loved Celine Dion - just not my cup of tea. The new Beatles/Cirque show, “Love” is at the Mirage. I plan on seeing that next month - it’s gotten good reviews. As for a suggestion for another show, Mama Mia is great, and Danny Gans is superb. Either one of those would make your night. For fun we went to see the Neil Diamond tribute show at the Riviera - Jay White, the fellow that does Neil, is nothing less than perfect! His appearance, voice, clothes and moves ARE Neil Diamond. I thought that I was at a Neil Diamond concert. The room is rather small, maybe 200 people in the audience. We had a ball. You can get half-price tickets for this and many other shows at ticket outlets up-and-down the strip. The outlets are called “Tickets 4 Tonight” and they go on sale about noon for that night’s performances only. Clint Black at Harrah’s is very dynamic and the Sintas at the Rio is a very good family oriented show. Hope this helped

The easiest way is to download to your computer a free application called, Nokia Media Converter, though it was created for Nokia, it will work on your Treo, convert the file and send it as a SMS to your phone and save it as a sound. If you want to get a very cool application the best one out there is MRing, this application is the best around and it works like magic, you can assing any mp3, wav or ogg file to your contacts, assign them to categories, and even setup vip modes. It is a really neat application. I purchased that application and downloaded a free application called audacity in which I can make smaller mp3 versions of my favorite songs and make them start from the Chorus or wherever I choose to do so. I would not use anything other than lanolin or my own breastmilk…. for you it’s the latter…. here’s some info on it: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/concerns/mom/nipplehealing.html After feeding, pat dry your nipples and express some breastmilk to rub into them (this should be avoided if you have thrush as it thrives in milk). Breastmilk has Vitamin E in it which is very healing to the skin. Your brother might have done something to scare the dog and deserves the distrust. If not, maybe some other male has scared the dog, and it’s responding to your brother as another male. If this is true, the dog will act this way around all males. The best way for getting the dog to NOT fear your brother is four fold: 1) your brother must never bait or tease the dog. 2) your brother should help feed the dog. One who feeds the dog is more likely to be respected and trusted. 3) your brother should spend time with the dog, playing with it, training it to “sit” and a few other tricks, and of course, when the dog does as directed, your brother should PRAISE the dog and give him a treat. 4) your brother should help groom him, combing or brushing him gently. This helps the dog bond to him. BUT… he must NOT get angry if the dog is skittish when he tries to do this or any other thing with the dog. Well my two kids are about 18 months apart. When I first found out that I was pregnant again it scared me because I didn’t know if I could handle two small children at once. And also I felt like I wasn’t being fair to my first because I wasn’t going to be able to spend all of my free time with only him. He was going to have to share me with a sibling. When my daughter was born my son adjusted quite well but some children have a hard time adjusting to a new baby. I can tell you that for me I don’t have “me time” all of my time is spent with my kids and my husband. I wish that I did but that is something that you need to work out with your husband once the baby is born since it is very important to have time for yourself. As far as finances mainly all that changed for me was buying more diapers and wipes. By the time you have your second you quickly learn how to bargain shop and make the most of your dollar. I basically used all my sons old furniture and simply bought new clothes and bedding since my second child was a girl. This is something that you need to discuss with your husband. I personally think it was the best decision to have them so close. My son and daughter are always playing together and are very close. He watches out for her and always makes sure that she is safe. I don’t know that I will have any more but I sure am glad that we had them when we did.
